Leah Moore entered into Glory at the Van Duyn Home on Sunday, May 28,
2006. After breakfast she was enjoying the view from a diningroom
window, when she "had a spell." The family agreed to have her
transported to the hospital, but when the workers arrived, Leah had
passed on within an hour of her first "spell." She is predeceased by her husband, William
in 1967. Leah was a member of the Farm Bureau and North Syracuse Baptist
Church. She loved to take friends for visits to nursing homes, shopping,
and lunch. She was an avid sewer, gardener, cook, baker, photographer,
carpenter, and craftmaker.

Surviving are a daughter; Louise Moore of Jamesville, a son; Harold Moore of New Hampshire and a sister; Elsie Eckert of Baldwinsville.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 1 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 12-1 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
to North Syracuse Baptist Church and Child Evangelism Fellowship of
Onondaga County.
