November 22, 1930 — May 28, 2018
Lawrence E. Devine, 87, of Pine City, NY, died on Monday May 28, 2018. Lawrence was the son of Claude R. and Minnie Conklin Devine. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brothers Claude R. Devine, Jr., Richard Devine, sisters, Wilma Wilson & Claudia Cook.
Lawrence is survived by his sons, Don E. Devine, David K. Devine, daughter, Debbie Devine, sister, Arline Seymour, grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers 832. He was an avid flyer and a member of the Aircraft Owners Pilot Association. Lawrence also had a great love for motorcycles and rode into his 70's. His favorite hobby was woodworking.
There will be no services.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira.
