Lawrence Robert Becker, 81, passed away on June 17th, 2022 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
He was born on July 18, 1940 in Syracuse, NY and was the son of the late Walter Becker and Fannie Becker (Finklestein).
He was predeceased by his two brothers Walter Becker Jr. and Charles Becker and his sister Edith Becker.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Grace Becker (Newman) and his four children Grace Flanders of Providence, Rhode Island, Cynthia (John) Kastler of Cicero, NY, Lawrence (Molly) Becker Jr. of Watertown, NY, and Melissa (Christopher) Bice of Syracuse, NY; four grandchildren Marcus Flanders, Samantha Kastler, Mikhail (fiancée Alicia) Flanders, & Mira Kastler; sisters-in-law Elaine Becker (Wellman) of Providence, Rhode Island and Clara Guerrero (Newman); cousin Joseph (Josie) Aldrous; along with several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area and loved watching wrestling and football, especially his favorite team the New York Giants. He loved his 3 cats and enjoyed bird watching.
Visitation will take place on Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.
