Laura (DiMaggio) Worth passed away in her home of almost 40 years. She was born in Newark, NJ and moved around the Northeast with her family as a child before settling in Syracuse. She graduated from North Syracuse High School class of 1970. She later worked for modern kitchens until she became a wife and mother. She enjoyed going to Watkins Glen for concerts and her favorite artists were Linda Ronstadt and Heart. She enjoyed being a member of Burnet Park Zoo for many years, bowling, and enjoyed doing daily crossword puzzles and playing adventure games on her computer. She loved dogs and god. She got to enjoy being a grandmother for almost 20 years.
She is predeceased by her parents Joseph DiMaggio and Theresa Graziano DiMaggio, her puppies Sunshine, Lucky and Tiana.
She is survived by her daughter Sarah Worth Williams; her Hanai daughter Christina (Chrissy) Pence; two grandchildren Tia and Ronald Williams III AKA Lil Ron; her husband Michael Worth; two sisters Linda DiMaggio and Tina Lydon Brown; brother Joseph DiMaggio; godson/nephew Scott DiMaggio; two nieces Amanda and Melissa Lydon; six nephews Joseph, Shane, Scott and Corey DiMaggio, Joseph and Jonah Lydon; and several cousins and lifetime friends.
A celebration of life will be at Williams Beach at Oneida Lake on July 9th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers please bring your favorite picture and or story of Laura!
