Lateef R. Haskins, 37, of Liverpool, went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was a graduate of Cicero North Syracuse, class of 1994. He was a member of the Iron Workers' Local 60 for 12 years where he took enormous pride in his skilled trade. He was an avid golfer, he [played on several softball and basketball leagues and coached all of his children's sports teams. He was a member of North Central Assembly of God where he mentored young boys always striving to be a father to the fatherless. Lateef passionately supported his favorite team the Miami Dolphins along side of his two young boys. He adored his children and always put family first.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years and high school sweetheart, Jessica Eldred Haskins; children, Leigha, Kaelem and Tyce; mother, Karen Lambert; stepfather, Arthur Weaver; siblings, Jeff (Krista) Williams, Paul Lambert and Laura Weaver; maternal grandmother, Marion Eleanor Lambert Spears; an uncle, Wade Lambert; father in law, Michael Eldred; mother in law, Linda Eldred; brothers in law, Justin (Lacie) and Jared Eldred; three nieces and three nephews; and god parents, Paula and Jose Perales.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7PM at North Central Assembly of God, 7463 Buckley Road, N. Syracuse.
A service of remembrance will follow after calling hours at 7PM.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 10 AM at the church.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
