Larry Michael Zajas, 69, of Watertown, passed away August 14, 2023.
Larry was born in Watertown, New York on June 27, 1954 to the late Joseph and Matilda Zajas. Larry attended Watertown High School and graduated from Jefferson Community College. His first job was at the Burrville Cider Mill and then he enlisted and served with the U.S Navy in Vietnam. After his time in the service he worked for MIller Brewing Co. for 18 years as a boiler operator. Eventually retiring from the City of Watertown Water Treatment Plant where he was a laboratory technician for 18 years.
He was predeceased by his grandmother Anna Wioncek; and a sister, Julie Getman. He is survived by his two sons, Jeremy Zajas, and Christopher M. (Hannah) Zajas; a sister, Patricia (April) Biran; two brothers, Michael (Claudia) Tuliszewski, Ted Tuliszewski; and one niece and several nephews.
