Kristine Reynolds, caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, left us on July 25th at the age of 55.
Kris was born on November 28, 1965. She lived in the Syracuse area her entire life. In 1986, Kris became a licensed cosmetologist. She worked at various hair salons in the Liverpool area, including The Unique Hair Machine, E-Clips Hair Design, and Angels Touch. In October 2013, Kris fulfilled a life-long dream of owning her own salon, Studio 57 where she was beloved by customers and coworkers alike.
Kris lived life to the fullest. She was happiest making memories with family and friends at the beach or around a bonfire. Kris loved to photograph nature; beautiful sunsets, full moons, and fall foliage were among her favorites. Later in life, she discovered her love for travel and seized every opportunity to do so. She was a talented crafter, and many homes will display her Christmas decorations for years to come. She was always there for anyone who needed her.
Kris is survived by the light of her life, her son Kolton Reynolds (Elizabeth Monohan), her mother Victoria Pisano, her aunt, Debra McKee (Dave), five sisters; Kim Varengo (Scott), Kelly Pitcher (Brian), Shannon Sprague (Joe Sawyer), Jennifer Damon (Ron), and Jessica Reynolds, as well as two brothers; Paul Sprague (Patricia), and Sam Reppi. She had five nephews and seven nieces.
Calling hours will take place Thursday, July 29 from 4-7 PM. Friends and family will be received at New Comer Funeral Home in North Syracuse (705 North Main Street) immediately followed by closing prayers.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Kristine's name to Joseph's House for Women, a foundation dedicated to providing support to Syracuse Mothers in need.
