Koce P. "Kosta" Cvetkovski, 69, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Tuesday at Francis House with loved ones by his side. Kosta fought a courageous battle for 8 years with kidney cancer.
He was born in Skopje, Macedonia to the late Peter and Zivka Cvetkovski. Kosta moved to the United States almost 40 years ago. He worked as head of security at several Syracuse Health Centers. He retired from security at the State Office Building. Upon retirement, he drove shuttles for Comfort Inn. Kosta was a true gentleman. He was kind, had a big heart and was always willing to help others.
Kosta was predeceased by a brother, Jovan Cvetkovski.
He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Jastemski; three children, Aleksandar (Vesna) Cvetkovski, Katerina Cvetkovska and Gavriela Cvetkovska and cousin, Suzana Dimkovska.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 21st 12-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 2pm.
The family would like to thank the Oncology Department at Upstate Hospital, Hospice of CNY and the staff at Francis House. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
