Klaus D. Dieroff, 57, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany and came to the United States when he was 6 months old. Klaus grew up in Camillus, NY. He became a U.S. citizen in 1964. He graduated from West Genesee High School in 1975. He worked for many years as a tool and die maker. Klaus was a drag racer for the past 20 years at E.S.T.A.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his mother, Margot Dieroff; sister, Susan Dieroff and sister, Heidi (Vince) Mascato; daughter, Laura Newport; son, Michael Newport; and five grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday 3-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Sharing of memories will take place at 7PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
