Kim Vader, 57, of Eastwood, passed away on Christmas Day, at Upstate Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She waitressed at many local diners throughout her life including Barbieri's, and Old Serpico's Diner. She formerly worked for Excellus for many years.
She enjoyed her scratch-offs, and trips to the casino, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, Walter Vader, Jr; mother, Elaine Vader (Tafel); and sister, Barbara Demko.
She is survived by her soulmate of 42 years, Robert Bowles, Sr; sons, Robert Bowles, Jr (Julie) and Ryan Bowles, Sr. (Marianne); grandchildren, Brianna Bowles (Kam), Ryan Bowles, Jr. and Jayden Hall. Also survived by brothers, Walter Vader, III (Roberta) and Michael Vader (Penny); sisters, Brenda Pendall and Eleanor Baum (Richard); along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Keeping with Kim's wishes, there are no calling hours or services. Burial will be private.
