Kim A. Massey-Swartz

Kim A. Massey-Swartz, 65, of Syracuse, passed away April 12, 2022. Kim was born in Oneida, New York on December 18, 1956 to Jack and Joan Gregory. Kim retired from New Venture Gear, after twenty-six years of dedicated hard work.

Her passion was spending time with family and friends who she selflessly loved beyond measure. Kim embodied strength, love, humor, and generosity. Her smile could light up the room and warm anyone's heart; she was truly one of a kind. For these reasons, she will live on forever in our hearts and fond memories.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Gregory; sister, Lori Gregory; and two late husbands, Walter Swartz and Louis Massey.

She is survived by her father Jack (Sandy) Gregory; her son, Phil (Joanna) Gregory; daughter, Yvonne (Colin) Purtell; six brothers, Randy Gregory, John (Michelle) Gregory, Troy (Mary) Gregory, Karl Gregory, Ray (Tina) Centro, and Sam Gregory; seven grandchildren, Brett (Samantha) Gregory, Alyson Gregory, Olivia Gregory, Lauren Gregory, Jack Gregory, Serena Massey whom she thought of as a daughter, and Caleb Purtell; three great-grandchildren, Serrafina Gregory, Grayson Mattox,and Aubree Gregory.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday April 24, 2022 from 12:00-2:00 at New Comer Cremation and Funerals with a service to follow.
