Kim Yvette Baker moved on to her next adventure in heaven Friday October 1, 2021 at Loretto in Syracuse NY due to complications from Type 1 Diabetes. Kim was born in Syracuse and spent many years also living in Alta Loma California while working for JC Penney in their Custom Decorating Department. She loved her dogs, reading, knitting, and crocheting. She had wonderful memories of growing up on Brickyard falls and swimming and enjoying time with her friends. Kim was recently predeceased by her husband Jimmy Baker whom she was married to for 27 years and adored. Also predeceased by her Father L. Gert Erne' and Stepsister and Brother in Law Judy (Flint) Guile.
She is survived by her Mother Louise VanDenEikhof and Stepfather John VanDenEikhof of Nevada, her Step Mother Diane Erne' of Florida, and Sister Cynthia (Doug) Fritzen of Manlius; her two Step Sons Joe Baker of California and Michael Baker of Washington; two Nephews Paul (Des) and Tony (Holly) Fritzen and Niece Anna Fritzen; Great Nephew Maximus, Step sisters Sheri (Dennis) Merkelbeck and Michelle VanDenEikhof (DJ) and Great Nephew Max of California. Our Family would like to thank the staff at Loretto for her care and friendship while she was a resident there.
There will be no public services per her wishes. Given her love of her dogs, donations could be made to the SPCA cnyspca.org 5878 E. Molloy Road Syracuse NY in her memory.
