Kenneth R. "Ken" Hollenbeck, 76, of Constantia, passed away on Wednesday at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Syracuse son of the late Ronald and Caroline Hollenbeck. Ken served in the US Air Force and was employed at Allied Chemical for 26 years. He also worked at Syracuse University for 14 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was an avid pitch player, he was an SU Fan, Boston Celtics Fan, NASCAR Fan and enjoyed making stained glass. He was predeceased by his daughter, Laurie Dorschel, sister, Nancy Whipple and brother David Hollenbeck.
Surviving are his beloved wife Kathie of 35 years, his 2 sons Jeffrey Hollenbeck, Thomas Dorschel, 2 daughters: Kelly Kinnison, Heather Colp, 9 grandchildren: James, Brian, Brandon, Joseph, Nicole, Jai, Amanda, Robert, Heidi,2 sisters, Ronda Huston and Diane Foster, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 3-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
