Kenneth C. VanSlyke, 90, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday at his home. Born in Oneida and a WWII Army Veteran, Ken was a Carpenter for many years. He was a member of the VFW Post #5540 in Phoenix for over 60 years.
He is survived by his companion; Constance Regal Rock, children; Kenneth C. VanSlyke, Linda Stryker, David W. VanSlyke, Mark Rock, Tammy Cummings and Dawn Rock, brother; Darwin VanSlyke and three grandchildren; Cary Stryker and Justin & Brandon Cummings. Services will be held on Saturday, September 9th,at the VFW Post 5540 in Phoenix at 2PM. Contributions in his name may be made to Oswego County Hospice and/or VA Pet Therapy Program in care of the VFW Post 5540 in Phoenix, NY.
