Kenneth C. Simpson

Kenneth C. "Thunder" Simpson, 56, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday.
Kenny was a self-taught drummer who could listen to songs and play them by ear since he was a child. He played in a number of local bands including Holly and the New Yorkers and Alec Star.
Kenny was a natural born artist including music and drawing. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and witty impressions.
Kenny was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Kathleen (Coleman) Simpson; his wife, Gale and a sister, Patricia (Simpson) Parkhurst.
He is survived by two sisters, Linda (David) Obit and Bonnie Simpson-Giacobbi and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday 11AM-1PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a graveside service and burial to follow in Loomis Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 2513 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13206.
