Keith H. Fannon, 94, of Syracuse, passed away August 13, 2024. Keith was born in McPherson, Kansas on January 17, 1930 to Clement and Lillian Fannon where he graduated from HS. In addition to his parents, his siblings William, Genevieve and Louis also predeceased him.

Keith is survived by his son Alexander (Kim) Fannon of Union City, PA and his daughter Carrie (Chet) Kupczyk of Liverpool, NY. He is further survived by three grandchildren Joel (Erica) Kupczyk, Brian Fannon, Chelsea McQuaid; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Keith served as a Sgt in the AF during the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal w/4 Bronze stars, Good Conduct Medal and United Nations Service Medal. In later years he worked at locating fellow servicemen from the 151st Fighter Wing and helped to organize yearly reunions. He created and maintained the 151st Fighter Wing webpage.

Keith spent over 35 years in the Consumer Electronics Industry. Initially, as a Buyer for Warren Radio Company and Elgin Electronics in Erie, PA. He worked as a Manufacturers Representative and co-founded Audio Marketing Associates and represented several audio and communications companies in the Ohio, Western PA, and West Virginia territory. In later years he went on to become a Consultant and Sales Manager, assisting electronics firms to establish their marketing plans.

He was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2006 for achieving over 4,000 hours of volunteer work in Dallas, TX. When he moved to Baldwinsville in 2007, he continued volunteering at the VA Hospital teaching Vets to use the MyHealthyVet Program. He also rebuilt computers and donated them to veterans. In July 2020, Keith received the Ambassador For Peace medal from the Minister Patriots and Veterans Affairs Republic of Korea.

He was also a lifetime member of The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Korean War Veterans Association.

Services are private and Burial will be at the Syracuse Veterans Cemetery.
