Kathryn Rasalas
July 29, 1921 — February 2, 2012
Kathryn "Babci" Rasalas, 90, of Syracuse, New York died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Amsterdam, New York she was one of ten children to the late, William and Julia Tylutki Raczynski. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, crocheting and cups of hot tea.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Rasalas,a son-in-law, Harry Ahearn, brothers, John, Anthony, Andrew and Joseph Raczynski and a sister, Josie Roberts.
Surviving are daughters, Linda Ahearn and Karen (David) Palmisano; granddaughters, Mollie Kate and Emily Anne Palmisano; brothers, William and Peter Raczynski; sisters, Mary Gawlak and Anna Raczynski.
Calling hours will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York. Services and burial in Assumption Cemetery will be private.
