Kathryn B. Essig, 91, of N. Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday surrounded by family.
She worked in the home for her husband's business, Essig Realty.
Kathryn was an avid boater and golfer having achieved her first hole in one two weeks before her 88th birthday.
Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, John R. Essig IV and her five siblings.
She is survived by her five children, John R. (Georgianna) Essig V, Barry (Diane) Essig, David (Linda) Essig, Steven (Cynthia DeKing) Essig and Susan (Michael) Spinner; eight grandchildren, Matthew Essig, Benjamin Essig, Christopher Essig, Sarah McCarthy, Crystal Scimone, Charles Essig, Robin Tamburrino and Kevin Spinner; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the near future at the convenience of the family.
