Kathleen Tyler

Kathleen Tyler, 74, of Baldwinsville, passed away March 5, 2025. Kathleen was born in Oswego, New York on June 13, 1950 to Roger and Marian (Lockwood) Tice. She attended St. Paul's Academy in Oswego and Oswego Catholic High School, graduating in 1968. She then went on to attend SUNY Oswego, graduating in 1972 as an elementary school teacher. Kathleen taught at Minetto Elementary School and Liverpool School District, retiring in 2005.

She loved to walk and exercise at the YMCA. However, she was always the happiest with her grandchildren.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Roger Lockwood Tice and mother, Marian.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roger Tyler; three sons, Michael S. (Traci) Tyler, Gregory D. (Meghan Brantley) Tyler and Jeffrey M. (Lindsey) Tyler; daughter, Kristine M. (Mark) Sergott; eleven grandchildren who were her pride and joy; and brother, Daniel (Diana) Tice.

In keeping with Kathleen's wishes there will be no public calling hours. A small private ceremony will take place in the fall, scattering her ashes in one of her favorite places.
