Kathleen Roache

Kathleen “Katy” Quinn Roache passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 78, in Syracuse, NY, after suffering a long illness. 

She was dearly loved, and she will be deeply missed, by all she leaves behind. 

She graduated from Assumption High School in 1964, and was part of the third graduating class of OCC, where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene.

Katy is survived by her loving husband, Lyle Roache; her sister, Judy Quinn Leonardo (Michael); sister-in-law, Sharen Boyer; 1 niece; 5 nephews; 4 grand nieces; and 6 grand nephews.

Katy was a Dental Hygienist, who worked in the dental practices of Dr. Richard Damiano and Dr. Michael Damiano, over a period of 42 years. She and her husband, Lyle, also owned a Syracuse Post Standard franchise for the past 25 years.

Katy loved golf, reading and swimming in her pool, but one of the greatest loves she had was for the 7 dogs she had throughout her lifetime.  They filled her days with fun and companionship and will be waiting to welcome her to the Rainbow Bridge to guide her home.

Per her request there will be no services. There will be a private family celebration of life in late October.
