Kathleen (Shannon) Muraca, 64, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital. Kathy was born in Utica, NY and retired after a career as a registered nurse. She met her husband while at Utica State Hospital School of Nursing and married in 1972. Kathy loved her grandchildren and family, reading, cooking, movies, gardening and time with her neighbors. Kathy is predeceased by parents, Estelle (Topor) and Edward, her sibilings, Mary Emery and Edward Jr..
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Frank; two sons, Walter and Christopher; her sister, Debbie (Jim Lesniak) Shannon; three grandchildren, Sydney, Areya and Aidan; several nieces and nephews; her sister and brother in-law, Eleanor (Bob) Jones.
Services will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Friday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the S.P.C.A.
