Kathleen E. Mitchell

Kathleen E. Mitchell, 76, of North Syracuse, passed away on November 23, 2024. Kathy was born in Syracuse, NY on February 9, 1948, to the late George and Joan (Smith) Nicholas. She was born again as an adult giving her the great hope of eternal life found in Jesus Christ (John 3:16). Kathleen retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She loved her family, her church and friends. She faithfully supported her church and missions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Joan Nicholas; her husbands, John Mitchell Sr., Paul Auringer and Rudy White; her sister, Colleen Boots; and her sons, Erich and Jody White. She is survived by her granddaughters, Riley Meyers, Maddie Meyers and MacKenzie Maxwell. She would say of her granddaughters, “They have my heart.” A memorial service will be held on December 8, 2024 at 10:30AM, at Grace Baptist Church, 17 Oneida River Rd, Pennellville NY 13132, as a part of the Sunday service. In addition, Centerville Court residents and friends are invited to a special remembrance of Kathy at 3:30PM in the community room.
