Kathleen S. Craner, 70, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly at St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday surrounded by her family. She was born in Johnstown, NY to the late Fay and Florence Jeffers. She was a graduate of Johnston High School and went onto work for MONY Insurance, Upstate Hospital before retiring from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Kathleen was a kind-hearted soul who enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and puzzles.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Gary; daughters, Heather (Claude) Haynes, Amy (Ron Rueger) Craner and Erin Craner; grandchildren, Robert, Brandon and Nicholas; siblings, Peggy (Chris) Watson, Marilyn (Jim) Corbett and George (Cindy) Jeffers and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be private for the family. A celebration of life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
