Kathleen L. Baron

Kathleen L. Baron, 73, of Syracuse, passed away September 13, 2021. She was born in Jamestown, New York on May 28, 1948.

Kathleen retired from the Jewish Community Center, where she was the head chef. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, sewing, and I Love Lucy. She had a special love for her family. Kathleen was of the Lutheran faith.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Baron, father, Arthur R. Phillips, mother Ellen Phillips, and two sisters, Linda and Cheryl.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina (David) M. Kirby; three grandchildren, Kyle (Jessica) G. Oakes, Arthur CW. McCormick, Chauntavia S. McCormick; god daughter, Valeria A. O'Brien; great -grandchild, Jonathon Oakes; three siblings, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Friday September 24, 2021 at Destiny Christian Center, 514 Turtle St, Syracuse, NY 13208, from 5-6PM with a service to follow. Contributions may be made to the family.
