Katherine E. Wicks, 99, of Caughdenoy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2018.
She was born to the late Fred and Matilda Bergner.
Katherine graduated from Solvay High School. She was owner and operator of Wicks' Grocery Store from 1955 until 1974. Katherine loved her dogs and her church.
She was predeceased by her husband, J. Richard Wicks and a son, Richard Wicks.
Katherine is survived by three sons, Jack, Gary and David (Ann) Wicks; daughter-in-law, Kay Wicks; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday, October 18th 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse, with a service to follow at 12pm.
Burial will follow in Caughdenoy Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Caughdenoy Methodist Church.
