Katherine M. Karkowski
July 22, 1934 — August 28, 2016
Katherine Karkowski passed away Sunday at Iroquis Nursing Home.
She was born in Troy, New York daughter to Alfred and Bertha Conde. Throughout her life she had many jobs including selling real estate and working for her children's businesses, but one of her favorites was taking care of her many grandchildren. She loved sewing, going to the casino, fishing and her sips of Jack Daniel's.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Theodore Charles, along with her 6 siblings.
Surviving are her children: Ted (Patricia), Catherine (Frank) Reles, Thomas (Timothy), William (Susan), 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Ellen Karkowski, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10-11am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
Donations may be made to the VFW in Minoa.
