Katherine Helen Paoletti DeVaul, 57, of Syracuse, resided with her husband, Stephen, niece, Katrina Fredericks and her two loving pets Teddy & Maggie. Katherine lived in Syracuse and its surrounding area all her life. Before her long battle with cancer, she worked as a Home Health Aide for Norell Corp., of Liverpool and was born again in Christ at Liverpool Christian Church. Predeceased by her mother, Beverly Paoletti in 1989, Kathy is survived by her husband Stephen, two sons, Nick Capozzi and his fiancé, Melody Shantie, Eric Burghardt; seven grand-children, Taylor, Nicky, Cora, Jade, Jayce, Jordan and Chris; her father, Paul and Marlene Paoletti; her sister, Debbie and John Riley; a brother, Gary and Patsi Paoletti; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours will be Saturday from 3-7PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. A private family memorial service will follow at a later date.
