Katherine Cox

Katherine Cox, 62, of Truxton, passed away January 24, 2024. Katherine was born in Syracuse, New York on April 25, 1961 to Robert and Carol Husted.

Katherine worked at several different jobs over the years. Being a mom was her favorite job of all. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, watching and feeding the birds. Katherine was a loving mother to many, and a caring wife.

She was preceded in death by Husband, David Cox; Son, Jeremy Cox; Father, Robert H. Husted; Mother, Carol A. (Guilbeault) Husted.

Katherine is survived by her Significant Other, Jamie Jones; Son, Joshua (Jill Wooding) Cox; Three grandchildren, Makayla Cox, Kaydence Cox, Estavan Irizarry; Sister, Sherry (Bruce) Fahsel; Brother, Robert (the late Poppy) Husted; and several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm.
