Karl A. Yackel of North Syracuse passed away peacefully at home on
Monday under the care of Hospice.

He is predeceased by his mother Mary Ann Yackel and his father Paul
Yackel, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Deborah, a brother
Paul Jr., of Liverpool, NY, a sister Sandra Ball of Winston-Salem, NC,
and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his
beloved pets Bingo and Kiki.

In keeping with Karl's wishes, there will be no calling hours or
services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in the
spring at his wife's home for family and friends to gather together.

A special thank you goes out to sister-in-law Christine Yackel for her
help with taking care of Karl. The family would also like to thank
Hospice of CNY for their compassionate help and care during his final
days as well as St. Joseph's Home Care.

In celebration of Karl's memory donations may be made to Hospice of CNY
or Helping Hounds of Dewitt, NY.
