Karl E. Keppeler, 82, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday at James Square Nursing Home. He was born on October 31, 1932, son of the late Eugene and Erna Keppeler. Karl served in the US Army and he was owner of Keppeler Body Shop for 42 years. He was also a member of the McCavanaugh Pond Club.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Joanne, step son Craig Adams, step daughter, Tracey (Mike) Gomes, 3 step granddaughters:, Tommie Jo, Danielle and Hailey, along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday at 1:30pm.
Contributions may be made to the SPCA.
