Karin Marani, 72, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday. Karin was loved by all and a dear friend to many. She retired from the City of Syracuse after 20 years. She enjoyed spending her summers at Cross Lake surrounded by family and friends. Karin and JR spent their winters in Naples, FL. She is predeceased by her brothers Gunda and Harold of Germany.
She is survived by her loving husband, JR; daughters, Brenda of Clay and Linda (Rick) of Naples, FL; granddaughter, Ashley (Michael) and great-grandson Mikey, granddaughters, Amanda, Kalyn, and Cassy; a brother Henry and sisters, Helga and Hunchen of Germany; special sister, Elke (Roger) of Mattydale; nieces, Elke (Brett) and Barbara; a very special nephew, Ron (Kelly); and her cousin, Jack (Mitsy).
Karin's wishes were to have no calling hours. Her family and friends will celebrate Karin's love of life at a later date.
