Karen Y. Comer, 42, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born April 26, 1969 in Syracuse daughter of David and Betty Comer. She enjoyed traveling and reading all types of literature.
She is survived by her lifetime companion, Michael Haynes, daughter, Yanique, mother Betty, father David, 3 sisters; her twin sister Carolyn, Paulette, and Melinda (Benjamin) Robinson, all of Syracuse,3 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 uncles, 7 aunts along with cousins and a host of friends including, a special cousin, LaTrenda Porter.
Calling hours will be held on Friday the 17th from 9-11am at the Bread of Life Church of God in Christ, 311 Burnett Ave., Syracuse with a service to follow. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
