Karen A. Martinez, 68, of Liverpool, passed away November 24, 2019.
Karen was born in Syracuse, New York on January 18, 1951 to the late Charles and Ina Burgun. Karen retired from Verizon after 30 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marion Hannig.
She is survived by her daughter, Chanele (Errol McKenzie) McKenzie; brother, James Burgun; and her two grandchildren, Maya and Jada McKenzie.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 30, from 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main, North Syracuse, NY 13212 with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Francis House (www.francishouseny.org).
