Karen M. Huntley, 72, of Liverpool, passed away September 27, 2021. Karen was born in Carthage, New York on March 14, 1949 to Kenneth and Mary Sears. Karen retired from Paul Delima. Widowed at an early age, she was an incredibly strong woman that preserved through trials and tribulates, raising her children independently. She was a member of the Purple Hats, she loved to travel, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending all of their sports and music events. She was one of their biggest cheerleaders. Karen was the glue that kept the family together.
She was preceded in death by Father, Kenneth W. Sears and her mother, Mary Veronica Sears; her loving husband, Dennis R. Huntley; two brothers, David Sears and Kenneth W. Sears Jr.
She is survived by her, daughter, Amanda L. Huntley; son, Raymond (Jennifer) R. Huntley; two grandchildren, Tessy and Shelby Huntley; four brothers, Michael Sears, Randall (Tracy) Sears, Kevin Sears, Peter (Sherrie) Sears; sister, Linette Sears; sister in law Donna Sears; several nieces, nephews, and adoring friends.
Calling hours will be held on October 2, 2021, from 9-11AM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals with a service to follow at 11AM. A mass of christian burial and interment will be held at a later date.
