June C. Perkins, 66, of Brewerton, passed away Sunday at Francis House, with her family at her side. Born in Syracuse and raised in Eastwood, she was a 1965 graduate of Henninger High School. She married Bernard (Dave) Perkins at St. Lucy's Church in Syracuse on August 3, 1968. June's interests included gardening, her pets and spending time with her close friends.
June is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bernard (Dave), her sons, Gregory (Terri Lee) of Spring Hill, Florida, and David (Tina) of Cicero, as well as her four grandchildren, Tyler, Julia, Charles and David, her loving dog, Maggie, as well as several nieces and nephews and countless loving friends. June is also survived by her mother, Rose Marie Berger, a brother, Fred Berger and a sister, Joan Abbatiello.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse. Friends may call on the family on Friday from 4-7pm. A burial will be held at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in Dewitt.
