Julie Hoff

Julie was an amazing woman with the biggest heart.

She died peacefully with her caring staff by her side.

Julie enjoyed the company of all 7 of her housemates at her home in Baldwinsville and loved spending time with them.

She appreciated the peaceful area of her home and the birdfeeders she had outside her window. Julie would watch the different birds that came to the birdfeeders and the occasional squirrel and deer that joined the birds. She loved wildlife and engaging in contact with dogs.

Julie loved Elvis Presley music and enjoyed listening to him sing. She would dance in her chair and would shake, rattle and roll. She loved to dance, spend time with her friends and be around others.

Julie spent many years working at the Arc of Onondaga Wavel Avenue workshop and it was there that she met her special friend, Bill. Bill and Julie worked together every day. Julie worked hard and was not afraid of flirting with "her" Bill, after all she was known as the sweetest person at Wavel. Julie dreamed of having a June wedding with Bill and all the decorations would be blue.

Julie leaves behind her special friend Bill, her wonderful friend and advocate Colleen, her housemates, caring staff, and many different people that she touched throughout her life. She will be missed by all.

Calling hours will be held Friday, August 28th from 3pm to 4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 705 North Main St Syracuse NY 13212, where her service will follow at 4pm.
