Julianna "Julie" (Makowski) Randall, 86, of Dewitt NY passed away at Crouse Hospital on August 15th.
Julie was born in Syracuse, NY on November 8, 1934 to the late Ida (Wozniak) Makowski of Eastwood, NY.
She was a 1953 graduate of Eastwood High School where at the age of 12, she met the love of her life, John. While a student, she was a member of the Girl Scouts and was the Polish Queen of the Syracuse Centennial Celebration and Parade. She also volunteered at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital. Following graduation, Julie worked at the NY Telephone Co. in the accounting department until becoming a new mother. She was blessed to be a mother to seven children. Her happiest times were when the family would be all together, especially when she would cook and serve one of her delicious meals and homemade desserts. She was the caregiver of the family, always willing to listen and compassionately advise and counsel. Julie loved animals, especially her pets. She a communicant of Holy Cross Church in Dewitt.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ellen Bardon and a son, Paul Andrew Randall.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, John W. Randall; children, John (Tanya) Randall, Stacey (Jeffrey) Sims, Diane (Joseph) Torok, Darcy Randall and Kevin Randall; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 20th 10 AM-11 AM at Holy Cross Church in Dewitt followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St.Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
