Julia Jimenez, 79, of Solvay, passed away on Friday at Van Duyn Nursing Home, with her family at her side. She was born on July 3, 1934, in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, she was a devout catholic and spent her spare time reading the Bible.
Surviving are her husband, Juan of 50 years, 3 sons; Ernesto Gomez, Ivan (Alexandra) Jimenez, Jimmy Jimenez, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday 4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. There are no calling hours.
