Julia E. (Rotundo) Gendron, 72, of N. Syracuse, passed away on Monday surrounded by family. She was born and educated in Utica, NY and moved to Syracuse in 1968. She worked with her husband at their sewing machine business. She was the daughter of Jeanette and Lewis Rotundo of Utica, NY.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Samuel of N. Syracuse; 2 sons, Melvin and Dale Gendron of Syracuse; daughter, Samantha (Gendron) Jones of Mooresville, NC; sisters, Louise Burger, Cecelia Milizzo of Utica, Roseann Calabrese of Baldwinsville and Michelle Walaski of Canandaigua, NY; 4 grandchildren, Rachael Brown, Bradley and Isabella Gendron and Brayden Jones.
Julia enjoyed camping, boating, and car shows; but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, dogs and especially, her grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Friday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM.
