Judy M. Pollastro, 80, of North Syracuse passed away at St. Josephs Hospital on May 17, 2020.
Judy was born in Alexandria Bay, New York on May 6, 1940 to the late Wendal Heath and Dorothy Waterbury.
She married her loving husband, Nick in July of 1966. Judy worked at NY Telephone (now Verizon). During her retirement, Judy loved taking long car rides and bus trips with Nick to local areas in New York and Atlantic City and other casinos. Judy had a lot of love in her heart for anyone she met. She had a special gift of memorizing everything, especially everyone's birthdays. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson Aidan, who she had a special bond with.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, Nick Pollastro; a son, Joseph Pollastro, a daughter, Debbie (Jim) Whitten, and a daughter-in-law, Maria Pollastro; a grandson, Aidan Pollastro; granddaughters, Brittany and Holly Whitten; a brother, Wendall Heath; and sisters Sandy Honeywell, Carol Ferrara, Patty Parker and Roberta Cullen;
Judy was predeceased by her brothers, Jim Heath and Larry Recore, and a sister Crystal Jones.
