Judith F. Sharp, 73, of Liverpool, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 18th, 2019 at Upstate University Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday May 28th from 4pm – 7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main St., Syracuse, NY 13212.
Judi was born October 2, 1945 to the late Daniel & Dorothy Czajak.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Daniel & Thomas Czajak ;as well as, her sister Geraldine Howard. Unfortunately she was the last one in her immediate family !!!
Judi put her heart and soul into everything she did. From many years of running Gladieux Food Corporation in the basement of the Civic Center to helping her son manage a rental business in Syracuse, she wore many hats. When she wasn't working you could find her at Crosslake carving a fish or building a fire. You might see her with her hands up to her wrists in dirt putting plants together.
My mother was a vibrant, viciouis and opionated woman who held no punches, but she was the strongest person I ever met. She was also carefree, caring, loving, passive and totally selfless. If she had $10,000 she would split it 10 ways with friends and family but she wouldn't be one of the 10. She loved to cook for crowds and entertain. Her most cherished moments were surrounded by loved ones at the pool, at camp, around the fire, doing fireworks or handing out microphones and requesting songs for karaoke. Judi lived and breathed for her son, grandkids, kids in general and her great granddaughter.
Judi was completely authentic, if she wasn't piling ice cream, syrups and fruit on a waffle for dinner she was frying mashed potatoes or painting a pickup truck with a paint brush to match the shutters. Any time you opened the refrigerator there were individually wrapped plates of food at your disposal. OMG Judi we will miss your ways.
She is survived by her son, Scott Sharp; grandchildren, Scott Sharp Jr. (Lydia Klapan), Kaylee Sharp (Austin), Amber Hyde (Tanner), Jeremy Perez (Liz), Cory Perez; great-grandchild, Freya Sharp; sister-in-law, Kathy Czajak (Thomas Czajak) and nephews, Dan, Doug & Bob (Katie) Czajak.
