Judith E. "Judy" Moreland, 74, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Central Park Nursing Home with her husband by her side. Judy was born in Syracuse on July 10, 1949 daughter of the late John and Mary Moriarty. Judy received her RN from St. Joseph's School of Nursing through Lemoyne College. She retired from Unity Mutual Insurance in Syracuse.

She was predeceased by her brother, John Moriarty.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond "Skip" Moreland, sister, Peggy Rudy, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was a large supporter of humanitarian causes, and a friend to many. Her love of helping others led her to sponsor many children overseas and volunteer for many causes. She was a Senior Advocate at Project R.O.S.E. in Camillus.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse, with service at 7pm.
