Juan R. Castellanos, 66, of Liverpool, passed away at his daughter's home in Cicero, on Tuesday. Born in Santi Espirtu, Cuba, where he completed engineering school. He arrived in the United States on the 4th of July, 1963. He retired in 2007 as a tile setter.
He is survived by his wife of 18 yrs., the former, Jeri Hotka; 4 sons, Rick (Elizabeth), Tony (Heather), Lucas, and Noah Castellanos; 4 daughters, Susan (Kevin) Dausman, Lorena (Evaristo) Anoceto, Haydee (Marc) Parella, and Alexis Castellanos; his mother, Luisa Castellanos; a brother, Papito; 2 sisters, Tuti and Blanca Castellanos; and his 1st wife and friend, Haydee Castellanos; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be Friday, at 1 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Contributions in Juan's name may be made to Hospice of CNY.
