Joyce M. Young, 89, of Phoenix, passed away November 1, 2021.
Joyce was born in Theresa, New York on December 9, 1931 to the late Floyd and Eula Daly.
Joyce worked at Bristol Myers for a few years. She then ran a daycare at home. Her true passion was being a homemaker and caring for her family. She was a member of the Phoenix Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Carlton Young; Son, James Leonard Young; Sister, Rosalyn Booth; Brother, James (Ruth Ann) Daly; Granddaughter, Amber Young.
She is survived by her Daughter, Joy-Marie (Robert) Karker; Son, Lester A Young; Brother, Leonard Daly; Grandson, Zachary Young; Granddaughter, Elizabeth Henderson; Great Grandchildren, Echo and Hazel.
Visitation will take place on Monday, 11AM-1PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 1 PM. Burial to take place in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
