Joyce M. Spears, 71, of Brewerton passed away Wednesday at University Hospital. Born in Central Square, she worked for Ames Dept Store and retired from the Central Square Central Schools.
Joyce is survived by a son; Douglas Spears; a daughter Christine Matteson; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday at 4 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be private. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 1-4 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street. Contributions may be made to the Francis House.
