Joyce Evelyn Franson, 85, formerly of Rhinebeck, NY and most recently of Cicero, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by her family.
She enjoyed gardening and horses. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 56 years, James; two daughters, Lucinda (John) Hazen and Sandra (Eric) Amberg; seven grandchildren; Patrick (Amanda), Ryan (Shannon), Steven (Whittney), Jeremy, Joelle, Heather and Neal and five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Ridge, Kolten, Logan and Makenzie.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 5-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday 11AM in North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Anna's Pantry, 8229 South Main Street, Cicero, NY 13039
