Joyce E. Davies passed away on Monday at her residence.

She was born in Nicholson, PA and lived in Liverpool for 55 years before moving to Syracuse. She was a homemaker most of her life and retired from Crouse Hospital in 1999 as a member of SEIUB Union. Joyce was a member of Faith Gospel Tabernacle in Liverpool. She was predeceased by her husband Roger Davies in 1982.

Surviving are her sons; Wayne (Terry) Davies, Round Rock, TX, and their children, Brad (Lori) Davies, Derby, CT, 2 brothers; Clifton (Marleen) Martin, Boulder, CO, John Lynn (Ann) Martin, McKinney, TX, 2 granddaughters, Katherine & Sarah Davies, 4 step grandsons; Matthew, Maximillian, Mackenzie & Mark, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10-11am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow. Burial will take place at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
