Joyce G Byron, 83, of North Syracuse, passed away August 19, 2018.

She was born in Lake Placid, New York on April 23, 1935 to the late Frederick and Ethel Gladd.

Joyce was a competitive figure skater in her youth. She loved traveling, RV-ing, camping, knitting, crocheting, her dogs, and the Adirondacks, especially Hoel Pond.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gerald Byron; a son, Robert (Annette) Byron; two daughters, Brenda Robinson, and Beth (Andy) Klocek; grandchildren, Jacob, Kyra, Kimberly, Michael, and Benjamin.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse, NY.

A memorial service will take place Friday, August 24th at 10:00am at North Syracuse Baptist Church, North Syracuse, NY. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA.
