Joyce M. Buczek, 48, of Brewerton, passed away on Saturday unexpectedly at home. She was born on April 6, 1967 daughter of Campbell and Mary McCaffer.
She was last employed at SUNY ESF and at Upstate University Hospital for 15 years. Throughout her life Joyce was an incredible loving person, as a mother, a daughter, sister, wife & a friend. She was a graduate of Cicero –North Syracuse H.S., she enjoyed arts & crafts, gardening and most of all, spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed for her charm, personality and loveliness to others.
Surviving are her beloved husband Frank, of 23 years, her children, Brittany & Frankie, her mother Mary, 2 brothers; Gordon & Doug McCaffer, sister, Janice McCaffer, mother-in-law, Evelyn Buczek, 3 brothers-in-law, Alan (Teresa), John (Carol), Joseph (Sharon), 3 sisters-in-law, Patty (Bill) Fortino, Loraine (Robert) Duda, Terry (Mike) Sheehy, along with nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
