Joy Patricia Partridge

Joy Patricia Partridge, 65, passed away on July 1, 2023. She was born in Syracuse, NY on April 18, 1958 to Joyce and Stephen Pisik.
She was preceded by Joyce, Stephen, Charles and Stephen Jr.
Joy is survived by her husband, Keith, her two sons Josh and Nate, her ward Angie, and her siblings Fran, Pamela (Peter), Raymond (Michelle), and Ethel.
Joy graduated from Syracuse University and received a Masters degree in Education. She was married to Russell Keith Partridge on April 14, 1989 in Hendricks Chapel of Syracuse University.
Joy was a loving and compassionate advocate for individuals with special needs and homeless animals. She served as a special education teacher in the Liverpool Central Schools District for almost 30 years until she retired in 2013. She was also an integral member of the Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church in all aspects, and much loved by her congregation. Joy volunteered with church leadership, bible studies, food pantry, Operation Christmas Child, and vacation bible school.
Joy deeply loved her family and friends and was in turn greatly loved.
Funeral services will be held at Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church on Saturday, July 15, at 3:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, Joy and her family ask that donations be made to either American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or Humane CNY and/or either Compassion International or Compassion International's Disaster Relief Fund.
